Kartel Motorsports announced today their appointment as the Official Wild Kart USA race team and sole US importer for Wild Kart. Manufactured in Borso del Grappa, Italy, Wild Kart offers world-class karting technology through sophisticated design and manufacturing.

“The addition of Wild Kart is a big step in the evolution of Kartel Motorsports”, said co-owner Joey Hand. “Growing our business will allow us to better serve our existing customers as well as reach new ones – especially those coming into the sport. I visited the Wild Kart factory last month and was very impressed with everything I saw. As exclusive Wild Kart importer, Kartel Motorsports is looking forward to improving affordability for the local, entry-level karter through a dealer network we will build all over the country.”   

The new Wild Kart range extends from the entry-level roller chassis model, to the top-of-the-line national kart chassis, complete with billet components.  Kartel can offer a number of competitive and cost-effective options for most every karter.

Winners of two CKI Championships and three Super Nationals titles in 2009, Kartel Motorsports will support the Gatorz Rotax Series, WSK CKI Championship, Pro Moto Tour, and all Norcal Super Series events this season. Kartel will bring back another stellar driver line up to the National tour, most of which are long time Kartel drivers.

Kartel has begun an extensive testing program with the new Wild Kart line and would like to hear from all interested drivers and dealers.

Kartel Motorsports is co-owned by American Le Mans and Grand-Am road racing star, Joey Hand and national karting champion Erik Bartolero. Kartel’s day-to-day business is managed by Joey’s father Les. Kartel offers an in-house engine service through Magnum Racing Engines. A partnership between Joey and Buck Sorensen, Magnum is a Certified Rotax service center.
